Surprisingly Alfa Romeo doesn't have a supercar. Some would argue that the 8C already serves that function, but it's more of a grand tourer to me. So that begs the questions, does Alfa Romeo need a supercar in its lineup? Artist Paul Breshke thinks so and has worked on this art project of his for the past 8 months just to answer to himself what an Alfa supercar owuld look like. I personaly think it looks stupendous! The curves and hips are all in the right place, the aggressiveness is there, and the sexy is surely not lacking. This thing is outstanding.
Mercedes-AMG will release a more hardcore version of the GT S later next year. It will wear the GT R and come with a new shade of paint called Green Hell Magno. If that term sounds familiar, it's in reference to the famouse race track in Germany called the Nurburgring where this new car was developed. The GT R now outputs 577hp and 516 lb/ft of torque from its 4.0L Twin Turbo V8 (up from 506 and 456 respectively). All this was accomplished through a combination of a new turbos, updated computer, reshaped engine ports, and a host of other changes. The car's track has also been widened and the fenders and roof are now made of carbon fiber. Even the aero has been upgraded to provide an addition 342 lbs of downforce at top speed. Revised suspension optimization round out the changes for the GT R. This thing sure is crazy looking. Read on for press release, video, and high res wallpapers
XTomi Design has come up with a few Tssla what-ifs. How about a Model S wago? or a Model 3 Coupe? And finally some Model 3 wagons? Damn.. I want them all.
I've just completed this photoshop above. The small sporty roadster category is seriously lacking. The MX-5 Miata is about all that's available in a small RWD convertible for under $30K. Everything else is either too big, too heavy, too expensive, or on the wrong FWD platform. In keeping with Kia/Hyundai's philosophy of getting more for not a lot of money, I think they should jump into the roadster business and offer something that looks great, is RWD, fun to drive, and price it at around $30K. Give it about 220hp but keep the weight down to about 2800lbs or no more then 3000lbs and I think they have a winnder.
Remember the Nissan BladeGlider concept from way back in 2013? Well.. it's not dead. In fact, Nissan has just shown an updated version with an even nicer interior and an updated exterior. If this car looks a bit familiar, it's because it was made in the same vein as the Deltawing race car that inspired it.
Finally got a chance to post up all the ND Miata wallpapers. Read on for press release and wallpapers
